Apple has once again delayed the launch of iOS 4.2. The software, which was supposed to be launched earlier this month, has be postponed till November 24. It is difficult to know the exact reason of the delay of iOS 4.2 release. However there are few possibilities including the Verizon iPhone.

Verizon iPhone 4: There are rumors which regards to iOS 4.2 and Verizon iPhone. Few news sources are now speculating that iOS 4.2 will come along Verizon iPhone 4 which is due to be released early next year. It is very difficult to see that what is happening on the Apple side. However, the possibility of the combined launch of Verizon iPhone and iOS 4.2 may not make any sense.

Wi-Fi Bug: , Electronista reported that Apple testers have found a Wi-Fi bug in iOS 4.2 powered devices during the testing phase. The report indicated that the bug was not in all devices.

Whatever is the reason iOS 4.2 delay but the bottom line is that iPhone 4 and iPad owners will have to wait for some more time until they get the new OS.
